A scary scene on the campus of Michigan State University Friday as a train collides with a car. No one was injured but traffic was re-routed for about two hours.
A blue Chevy Cavalier attempted to pass a school bus stopped at a railroad crossing, but in the process hit another vehicle, lost a tire and got hung up on the tracks. The driver got out immediately and a few minutes later the train smashed into the car.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. on the Canadian National Railroad tracks just north of Service Road on Hagadorn Road.
