The Lansing Community College University Center will give students the opportunity to complete degrees from other universities in Michigan starting in the fall of 2007.
Thursday LCC announced which universities you'll be able to attend, right in downtown Lansing.
"This is going to allow individuals to complete their goals and dreams as it relates to higher education," said Rich Howard, the vice president of strategic initiatives for LCC. He said the University Center is all about easy access.
Students at LCC will be able to earn degrees from the following universities:
University of Michigan-Flint
Western Michigan University
Spring Arbor University
Siena Heights University
Lawrence Technological University
Ferris State University
Central Michigan University
The University Center will be built at the southwest corner of Capitol and Shiawassee. It will be 35,000 sq feet, and have room for about 4500 students.
