Two Macomb County women are in jail for some unusual prayer habits.

Rachel Jacobs and Brittany Jordan face disorderly conduct charges for dropping to the ground and praying in public places.

The two women told police they were doing exactly what God told them to do. They were ticketed for praying at a gas station in Shelby Township.

A magistrate told the pair they could pray where they wanted but couldn't impede other people.

But as they left the courtroom Thursday, they prayed again, blocking the doors to the courthouse.

Police hauled them back into the courtroom in front of the magistrate who sent them to jail.
