2014 Infrastructure Dollars Not Enough, Says MDOT

Another year, another poorly funded road system in Michigan.

Around half of the $254 million pledged for Michigan roads and infrastructure, Wednesday, will go to projects. The rest will only make a small dent in the more than $1.3 billion of repairs needed, says MDOT Spokeswoman Kari Arend.
