Jesse Green, spokesperson for the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, claims President George W. Bush is blaming the wrong people when he says that lawyers are responsible for higher health care costs.
The President spoke in Grand Rapids, MI on the state of healthcare.
Green says the president should blame insurance companies for the increases in health care.
The Life Insurance Association of Michigan, representing three insurance companies, says that increases should not be blamed on insurance providers.
They say insurance companies are also impacted by the rising cost of healthcare just as their clients are.
