Arnold wrote and stars in "The Kid and I."
The PG-rated comedy opens December 2.
Arnold and co-star Eric Gores attended a sneak preview Saturday at a Grand Rapids-area theater.
Gores is a 2004 graduate of West Ottawa High School.
His father is Los Angeles billionaire Alec Gores, who got rich buying and turning around distressed technology divisions of large companies.
