A new movie starring Tom Arnold features a Holland-area native in a prominent role.
Arnold wrote and stars in "The Kid and I."
The PG-rated comedy opens December 2.
Arnold and co-star Eric Gores attended a sneak preview Saturday at a Grand Rapids-area theater.
Gores is a 2004 graduate of West Ottawa High School.
His father is Los Angeles billionaire Alec Gores, who got rich buying and turning around distressed technology divisions of large companies.
Arnold plays a washed-up actor whose life is enriched when he stars in a movie with a young man, played by Eric Gores, who has cerebral palsy and no film experience.
Gores really has the condition, which affects muscle control.
