Vans, cars, and pick up trucks they're all up for sale at the State Surplus Auction Saturday morning in Delta Township.
"Everyone is out to save money and this is a great place to do it," Kevin Lancto, the head of the auction, said.
Mike Brooks is one of those people. He says he is one of the few in Mid-Michigan looking for a truck at the auction.
"A lot of these cars are from Michigan State and are in good condition," Brooks said.
A Lansing couple we talked to says it's starting to get to be too hard to fill their tank every week and they're starting to think about purchasing a car that would be more fuel efficient, like a Ford Taurus.
"It's pretty bad, we get about we get about 15 miles to the gallon on the highway and at four dollars per gallon we go through a lot of gas," which is why Oldger says he is thankful for this years auction.
