A former Michigan State University bookkeeper charged with stealing from two journalism programs is headed for trial.
Raye Grill of Fowlerville waived her preliminary hearing Wednesday in East Lansing. She will be arraigned November 16.
Grill is charged with one count of stealing at least $20,000 from the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association. She also faces one count of stealing between $1,000 to $20,000 Michigan State's journalism school.
An internal audit was sought after the J-school director noticed discrepancies.
Grill could get up to ten years if convicted.
