Lansing police are investigating a double homicide. A 25 year old man and a 25 year old woman were found dead on the 1100 block of Prospect Street, near Sparrow Hospital, Wednesday evening. Police have not made any arrests yet. They are searching the neighborhood and interviewing potential witnesses. They have not released the victims' names yet and don't know what led to the homicides. My bet is these people were involved in the drug trade. Or it's an arguement over somebody's woman or her price, whatever.

it wasnt drugs its just to easy to make enemies now a days...if u say the wrong thing, ir look at someone the wrong way you automatically make enemies..Miranda was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, he brought her down with him, she didnt deserve that, karma will come back to bite the shooter where it hurts, and they will never get away with what they did, u better hope you are halfway to mexico by now, because there are a lot of angry people, the shooter was too much of a coward to fight with fists that he had to carry a gun on his hip to make himself feel golden..thats pathetic!

How many of our children are we going to lose to thugs that don't care about taking a life. Capitol punishment needs to be part of the Michigan way.

I don't understand how anyone could ever commit such a gruesome murder let alone 2. What are these people thinking? My heart goes out to both families and hopefully justice will be found.
