I have had friend injured drinking and driving. I also had a friend from college do two terms in prison because of it. It ruins lives, period. The key word: "liveS"... it's plural, meaning it never just affects the person driving. Teens- stay safe and find entertainment that doesn't include ANY substances!!! {p.s. Nice job, Kristy!!!}

I urge young or older people not to drink and drive or start drinking at all.just say NO.don't worrry what others think,don't worry what others do.or what they say to talk you into it.as a mother,I lost a 24 yr old son.drunk driver,my son was in the car.the accident was so bad it was closed casket.I've read about so many,killed due to drunk driving,how some have been trapped and burned to death because cars caught unfire ect.so many think"it can't happen to them"well it can,and does.so many don't think how much it hurts the ones left behind.it's a living hell for the parents,children of lost ones ect.and so many not driving drunk,can be in the other car,who get killed or mamed for life.not easy to live with when one sobers up and knows they are responsible.think it's fun?think it ok.think again,it causes many problems for many people.I just wish more schools would show the graffic pictures,of the cars and ones in them.or to look at thoes who surrived with scares that never go away.

I think it is really sad, that the prom event has taken on the stigma of having to drink. When people go and spend tons of money on looking nice, they go and ruin it by drinking. What is more attractive then a young lady in a beautiful gown stumbling around drunk? It should be a night to act mature and grown up, not like a bunch of little childish brats. I say if they arent old enough to act responsible, they shouldnt be allowed to attend the Prom. It is sad that our society has come to think that drinking is a responsible thing to do on such a special day. Kids please Enjoy your PROM, it is a special time in your life, YOU want to be able to remember it in years to come. Dont Drink!
