Victim of Fiery I-496 Crash Identified

The victim killed in a fiery I-496 crash has been identified as Aaron Christian Buda. The 24-year-old Lansing man died Tuesday morning when his car crashed and caught fire.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated by Lansing police, but weather conditions and construction may have contributed.

Six cars, including the on driven by Buda, were involved in the mishap shortly before 8am. Three other drivers suffered minor injuries.

    Mollie and Janice, please don't be so quick to blame the person that died or cell phones.. Preliminary investigation reports are saying it was road conditions. At this point, we have no idea what really caused this horrific accident.

    That looks exactly like the car that passed us doing at least 90 mph... like we were sitting still.... what's that saying? speed kills?

    I really hope no one was talking on their cell or texting to cause this accident.
