Move over engineering and nursing - there may be another sure-fire job option for your kids.
Members of the Experimental Aircraft Assocation Chapter 55 gave students from Waverly Community Schools a ride in their planes in Mason on Saturday.
The pilots said they are trying to interest children in flying because many airlines are forecasting a large need for new pilots in the coming years.
"It's a very good life if you choose it for a profession," said Bill Puroski, vice president of the local EAA chapter.
"There's a definite need for it, as our flying industry continues to grow in the number of pilots (it) needs."
Though members of the EAA love to fly, some say they're definitely cutting back due to the cost of fuel.
"Self pump" fuel costs about $5 a gallon, but it can jump to $6.50 if someone fills your plane's tank.
