SAGINAW, Mich. (AP) -- An employee of Lutz Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Saginaw says he found a noose hanging in his work locker.
The center says in a statement that management and fellow staff at the center have apologized to the employee after the noose was reported Friday. The Saginaw News says the report is under investigation.
Director Gabriel Perez says employees and the hospital "will not tolerate any discriminatory acts in our workplace."
Officials declined information on the worker or the area in which he is employed.
