A predicted drop in students in Jackson's Northwest school district means twenty-two teachers might be out of a job.
The district is bracing for a possible million dollar deficit for the next school year due to declining enrollment, and sources tell News Ten that teachers could be laid off.
District officials are predicting a loss of 150-students,which means the district will receive less aid from the state next school year.
The superintendent said they'll make a decision about the teachers as soon as they crunch next year's budget numbers .

budgets being cut.funding in many things not there and more won't.teachers first.then food.then heating goes at schools,the merging,then closings??or get more people to pay by higher taxes per county?oh.lottery goes for schools?no one buying tickets any more?taxes raised per county for many things gov can't pay at the state level?everything is taxed in mich.but we can't afford much?jobs are needed but aren't comming.many loose jobs.wages don't get raised but all goes up to buy things?more go on social programs.more loose things.credit cards maxed,don't get paid off.roads get fixed or not.of course people are leaving mich if they need work,no jobs here.high prices force many to shop some where else.when looking at other states we see more for some things,but better paying jobs,and more of them.better schools,and more smoking in places,like the places mich wishes to stop smoking.mich is becomming it's own prison.our gov is hurting us messing up alot of things.get these people out of gov.

well this sounds right considering mich economy and all the high prices inflicted on people.schools all across mich will be suffering before much longer.look at the cost they have now do to the high cost of gas ect.and look at all thoes out of work,laid off,and thoes who now are on total social programs.not going to get taxes off many people,except the richer ones.and thats not fair is it?but where are the thousand of jobs mich needs.ones that jenn should of worried about when she first took office.that first yr should of been spent on changes to get rid of or pass things to get jobs here.now we are in touble trouble due to costs and less tax money to run this state.not enough funds for many things.SCHOOLS,TOXIC CLEAN UP,ROADS,AND SO MANY TAXES GO OUT OF STATE DUE TO HIGH TAXES ON THINGS.blame things on many things,bottom line is the gov,state,local,whitehouse and the worlds differnt gov.greed and power trips,wars and lies,terriosts and communist gov.woops.the people suffer.

is this because kids are droping out of school or families that can are moving out of state?we can't have tax money with not enough jobs.and jobs just aren't in mich to supply all needed.so budgets just get worse.so much for getting an education in mich and staying in mich to work.22 teachers,no job?there goes some more of the economy.and tax money.and less for schools in other ways.at the costs of running buses and heating schools we may see many going into biger messes.food prices for schools also go up just like every thing else.how long will schools be able to stay in bussiness?mich was in bad shape before high gas prices.think what we face in the future.at the rate the usa is going,how long before many states end up like mich?so many problems started when jobs were allowed to go over seas.we are in the later on effects of that the gov allowed.now it's the greed things of power of the rich ones.we can't start a new country,no place to go.many loose jobs in the car co also.woops.
