The teenage actor who plays the half in the hit CBS comedy "Two and a Half Men" says it's "filth" and through a video posted by a Christian church has urged viewers not to watch it.
Nineteen-year-old Angus T. Jones has been on the show since he was 10 but says he doesn't want to be on it anymore. He says, "Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth."
The video was posted by the Forerunner Christian Church in California, where Jones says he went to meet his spiritual needs.
CBS and producer Warner Bros. Television had no comment Monday.
The show stars Jon Cryer as Jones' uptight dad and originally featured Charlie Sheen as his hedonistic philandering uncle, but Sheen was replaced by Ashton Kutcher.

His career just went down in flames no one will hire him now. We will see him on the streets in a few years crying about being a mistreated child actor

I like how people are applauding him for taking a stand. It is ridiculous to say that he is taking a stand when he is still actively participating in the "filth". Absurd.

Congratulations to some money-grubbing preacher who likes headlines. Usury is usury. If the kid wants out, there are contractual ways that will not cut off future opportunities he may think differently of when he's more mature.

This kid says not to watch it, but I bet he runs to the bank every pay day. This show was never a good one, it made women sex objects and taught men it was ok to drink and to have sex anyplace any time. I hope Chalie Sheen realizes what he has done to exploit his own daughter. Bottom like.... this show is trash and not funny

Talk about biting the hands that, literally, feed you. I'm not knocking his beliefs, but it seems he's been raised to be a little money-grubbing hypocrite.

He's right. It is exactly that - filth. Good for him for finally maturing enough to recognize it and take a stand. No doubt this will take the show and I can only say it's been a long time coming. Thank GOD.
