"Michigan Steps Up" Steps Into Businesses
Michigan's Surgeon General targets businesses in a healthy living campaign.

The "Healthy Businesses" campaign kicked off Tuesday. It's the latest addition to the state's "Michigan Steps Up" campaign which promotes healthier living.
Michigan Surgeon General Doctor Kimberlydawn Wisdom says unhealthy living contributes to poor quality of life and for businesses it can mean low productivity and higher healthcare costs.
The "Healthy Businesses" campaign promotes healthier lifestyles while in the workplace and at home. Dr. Wisdom says, in the long run, it will save money for corporations large and small.
