Monday night the Dewitt Township Board of Trustees approved a special-uses permit for a 91,000 square-foot shopping center to be built at the intersection of Airport and Clark Roads. The project had already been approved by the Planning Commission, but needed the approval of the trustees for it to be built in its entirety.
The facility will be anchored by a Kroger and include two banks, a gas station, and retail space.
It's set to break ground this spring and expected to be completed in a year.
