The Ingham County Sheriff's Office has identified the man whose body was found in Holt last night as Samuel Decker, 18, of Leslie.
He was found on Calypso Road at 7:43 p.m. A witness said Decker was found lying next to a car.
CPR was given to the man and he was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Sheriff's Office is treating this is a suspicious death because he was young, and so it being investigated as a homicide.
However, that is protocol used when a body is found, and police are not searching for a suspect.
They expect to have more details in a couple of weeks when an autopsy is completed.

A young kid died, better comment on the grammar, that sure is important! Now I feel better about my pathetic, lonely existence.

Excuse me but have you hired 6th graders to do your writing? Seriously, I have an 11 year old niece who could do better than whomever wrote this piece.

Who wrote this article, a third grader? I found about five typos and other examples of poor writing such as using the passive voice. WILX needs an editor!

This is a tragic story, but you might want to check for glaring typos before you publish such news. It looks like an 8-year old texted this from their phone. It's pretty bad.
