A 21-year-old senior at the University of Michigan was badly hurt in an early morning house fire near campus.
Ann Arbor firefighters aren't releasing the man's name.
But Assistant Fire Chief Chris Brenner says the student is hospitalized in critical condition with cuts and burns after jumping from a second-story window.
The fire was detected around 4:30 this morning by one of the seven men who share the house.
The other six made it outside without getting hurt.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
