With more and more Americans becoming overweight the detection for Diabetes is becoming trickier to detect.

Diabetes a condition that affects millions of people can take years to detect. Type two diabetes is the most common kind with such symptoms as unquenchable thirst and rapidly deteriorating eyesight.

In a healthy, normal body much of what we eat and drink becomes sugar hitting the blood stream almost immediately. Then insulin, produced in the pancreas start to send out a signal to all your muscles and fat to let the sugar in.

In diabetics though the insulin does not do a great job of getting into your body instead the sugar that is made is basically stuck going round and round in your blood.

Doctors say it is a matter of genetics and that exercise and the right diet are the best medicine.
