Dedicated Journey fans lined up at 8 a.m. Monday for the first day of Common Ground. Monday was the start of the seven day music festival in downtown Lansing.
Organizers expect 90,000 people to attend the festival this year and they expect a profit for the third consecutive year. They're also ready for a big crowd. They've tilted the East Main stage towards the river for the second year. Capacity has been doubled at that stage and you will find a variety of vendors in that area as well.
