Several patients and community leaders are calling for a review of the financial records of both Blue Cross and Sparrow Hospital.
A confidentiality clause in their most recent agreement is preventing either side from releasing information about the negotiations. As a result, there is no word yet as to whether a financial expert will be included in the ongoing negotiations.
However, both Sparrow and Blue Cross say they're confident a permanent agreement can be reached by the June 30, 2003 deadline.
