MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon told reporters at a press conference Thursday afternoon all students and faculty were accounted for by 1:45 in the afternoon.

Kathleen Fairfax, director of the MSU Study Abroad program says the double-decker bombing in Russell Square was in the proximity of a residence hall 60 MSU students were living in at the time. Some students did hear the explosion.

That hall has been closed due to security concerns and students have been relocated.

Acting Provost John Hudzik says no programs will be cancelled; another 142 MSU students are on their way to the UK this weekend.
