Lansing Community College broke ground on two new technical facilities in Delta Township Wednesday morning.
The school is building a student training complex for technology and automotive students.
LCC is also building a new Michigan Technical Education Center where local businesses - including GM - can train their workers.
Officials say the new complex will help carry on the 45- years of technical education at the college.
The student building will open for the 2004 Fall semester. The MTEC building opens next winter.
