According to City Police in Fremont, Indiana, it's legal to sell certain fireworks with the understanding the buyer won't set them off in states where they're banned. Fireworks stores were packed Friday when we made the trip to Fremont.
If you happen to buy the forbidden fireworks and get caught you could get more than you bargained for. Trooper Rick Pestun of the Coldwater Michigan State Police Post says you could get a 90 day misdemeanor and fines. Plus, your fireworks will get confiscated.
