The Detroit City Council wants to join a lawsuit seeking records related to an $8.4 million whistle-blowers' settlement approved by Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.

It does not show the character of a person in a good light if his own council does not trust him.

Since the whistle-blower suit is being paid for publicly, the case as a whole should be part of the public domain. Kwame, you have already been caught. Stop trying to stonewall the public.
