From Wal-Mart to West Lansing, the black bear is apparently everywhere around mid-Michigan.
Since Sunday's sighting in the parking lot of Wal-Mart near Eastwood Towne Center there's been a handful of others who've come forward to report their sightings.
Melody Routhier-Laskosky saw one Monday evening. She was getting ready to walk her dog near her West Lansing apartment and saw a bear running on the sidewalk.
Brent Rudolph, DNR Wildlife Research Specialist, says staff has been sent out to look for the bear or bears but they've had no luck.
If you happen to see a bear, please don't approach it. Call 911 or the DNR's 24-hour hotline at 1-800-292-7800.
