LANSING - Rescues and the dive team have left the Grand River in Old Town. Lansing police report that thay have "assessed the credibility of the caller and conducted a thorough search of the area locating no reported tipped over boat, dog or person in the water."
Shortly before 10 o'clock Friday morning, emergency crews were called to the area of the Fish Ladder in Old Town, after receiving a call that a man had gone into the water and had not surfaced.
Nothing was found.
