Michigan Soldiers Among Iraq Deaths

The Department of Defense says that two more Michigan soldiers have died in Iraq.

Army Specialist Joshua T. Brazee of Sand Creek in Lenawee County died Monday from non-combat related injuries in Al Qaim, Iraq. The 25-year-old was assigned to the First Squadron, Third Armored Cavalry Regiment based in Fort Carson, Colorado.

And Sergeant Brad A. Wentz of Gladwin was killed Friday when his convoy came under attack along one of the country's main supply routes. The 21-year-old was assigned to the Army Reserve's 180th Transportation Company based in Muskegon.

Wentz and Brazee are the 50th and 51st members of the U.S armed forces with known Michigan ties killed in Iraq.
