United States Representative Mike Rogers (R-Michigan), says he met with local U.A.W. leaders Tuesday to talk business.

Representative Rogers would not reveal the details of the talks.

He said the burden of health care on General Motors was a topic.

The Detroit Free Press reports last year G.M. spent $5.2 billion in health care for it's employees, retirees and dependents.

The Detroit News says that's more then $1,500 dollars for every vehicle produced in the U.S.
