Michigan outgoing Attorney General welcomed the incoming Attorney General.
500 members of the Attorney General's staff gathered with Jennifer Granholm and Mike Cox for a get acquainted session.
The two have pledged to make a smooth transition.
Governor-elect Granholm says the toughest part of the transition for her will be leaving her former colleagues. Attorney General-elect Mike Cox says the tough part is all he must learn.
When Cox takes office Jan. 1, he will become Michigan's first Republican Attorney General in more than 40 years.
