A pair of men pretending to be shopping hit a Lansing Township jewelry store Thursday morning.

Police say two men asked to see an item from a display case. When the clerk showed it to them, they grabbed it and dashed out the door. One of them had a gun, but no shots were fired.

A store employee was assaulted during the robbery, but not seriously injured.

The suspects were last seen driving off eastbound on East Saginaw in an older model silver sedan.

Anyone with information about the robbery are asked to call the Lansing Township Police Department at 485-1700.
