"Michigan has delegates right now up for grabs," Janet Huckabee said.

That's why Mrs. Huckabee stopped by the Michigan Republican Convention Friday.

"I'm going to try to talk to as many as I can to see if i can get them to draw their delegates for Mike Huckabee," Mrs. Huckabee said.

Mitt Romney's primary win here gave him 45 of the state's delegates. But he's out... and those delegates can technically do what they want.

"It's all about the delegates right now," she said. "We've said all along no one quits the race until someone has 1191 delegates and neither candidate has that right now. So we're going to keep working."

They do it against incredible odds, as John McCain leads Huckabee in delegates by almost four to one.

"Realistically, John McCain is the presumptive nominee," said Saul Anuzis, chairman of the Michigan Republican Party. "It's only a matter of time before the party rallies around him."

Former Chairman of the Romney Campaign for the 7th District, Jon Williams, is one of those delegates.

"Mitt has already asked us to cast our delegate votes to McCain so it makes it easier for us," Williams said.

And though Mrs. Huckabee is doing her best to sway the uncommitted's...

Many aren't anxious to break with national trends.

"I don't think it will be a problem for us to support the nominee," Williams said. "And right now I think that nominee is John McCain."
