Think you may be paying too much for your prescription drugs? Now, there's an easy way to check.
Monday the State of Michigan launched a Web site giving pricing information for the 25 most-commonly prescribed prescription drugs. It's designed to make decision-making and shopping easier for consumers.
The prices are reported by First Health Services Corporation and will be updated monthly. Costs are based on a one-month supply and are comparable to what a cash-paying customer without insurance would pay.
The list can be found on the Web site at www.michigan.gov/mdch.
