A 57-year-old Jackson woman's condition is improving after a serious motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon.
Jackson County Undersheriff Chris Kuhl says the woman was found in a ditch along Lindsey Road in Liberty Township with her bike on top of her.
She was initially taken to Allegiance, and then sent to University of Michigan in critical condition.
The woman has since been upgraded to serious condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation; alcohol was not a factor.
Undersheriff Kuhl says the woman was wearing a helmet, and is an accomplished rider.
