LANSING - A second man has been arrested in connection to the fatal beating of a Travis Peterson outside a downtown Lansing tavern New Year's Eve.
The man, 34-year-old Donald Suttle, Jr. of Lansing, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.
On Wednesday Austin Smith, 31, of Grand Ledge was arraigned on the same charge. Smith was a bouncer at the Brannigan Brothers tavern on Washington Square.
30-year-old Travis Peterson was hospitalized in critical condition before succumbing to his injuries. Police believe that Peterson had been involved in an altercation at the bar. He was found on the street bleeding from the head.
