Jackson Police found 33 marijuana plants in a home during an investigation yesterday.
Police were investigating reports of shots fired on the 1000 block of First Street. No evidence of gunshots was found.
While at a home, they located 33 marijuana plants.
The owner had a medical marijuana card, but by law, a person is only allowed 12 plants.
Those were confiscated and will be destroyed.
Police also found two handguns and a shotgun. It's not yet clear if the man has a license for those weapons.
No one has been arrested, and the case is still being investigated.
