The Michigan Treasury Department was one of the organizations hosting ‘Take the Test Day,” at Lansing’s Eastern High School.
The event allowed community members to take The Michigan Education Assessment Program (MEAP) in a practice form.
Overall parents and educators who took the exam commented on its in-depth ness and higher level thinking required.
“The exam relies tremendously on ones critical thinking skills,” said Francisca Kidder a parent and educator.
The MEAP is the basis for awarding Merit Scholarships and other academic awards.
