Dozens of Cows Killed in Barn Fire
About 60 dairy cows and calves have been killed during a raging barn fire in southwestern Michigan.

BUCHANAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- About 60 dairy cows and calves have been killed during a raging barn fire in southwestern Michigan.
WSBT-TV in South Bend, Ind., reports (http://bit.ly/xcCZjt ) the blaze started just before 11 a.m. Wednesday at Power Farms in Berrien County's Buchanan Township, about 80 miles southwest of Grand Rapids.
Several fire departments from surrounding communities were called in to help battle the fire.
The TV station reports that the barn and farm are owned by Nick and Barb Powers.
