A Lansing police officer has been fired after an internal investigation revealed he broke criminal laws as well as administrative rules within the department.
Officer Wilbert Brewer was suspended after allegations surfaced about misconduct. Then earlier this month he was arrested and charged with drunk driving.
Brewer was hired by the Lansing police department back in 1998.
