MLK Day Inspires Community

In part because of the struggle to make it a holiday at all, MLK day is an opportunity for the African American community to talk about what's left undone in King's legacy.

It means focusing on issues like voting, housing, and apathy.

Experts say it’s a chance for conversation to re-focus on a struggle that is the same, but still very, very different.
