All this melted snow and rain mean several residents in Mid-Michigan are dealing with the excess water and flooding in their basements.
Homes in the south Lansing neighborhood near Holmes and Martin Luther King were hit especially hard Thursday morning.
Residents say the last time this happened was during last May’s downpour.
At least ten or more homes near Lowcroft Street have been pumping water out of their basements since early Thursday morning.
Butler and other residents in the neighborhood have taken their flooding complaints to the City of Lansing.
