Whoever wins or loses Michigan's statewide races Tuesday, one thing is sure -- there will be new faces in Lansing's three top offices.

Republican Governor John Engler is stepping down after three four-year terms. The law bars him from running again. He's expected to take a private business job.

Term limits also prevented Republican Secretary of State Candice Miller from seeking a third four-year term. Instead, she's running for Congress from Macomb County.

And Democratic Attorney General Jennifer Granholm leaves office after four years to run for governor. She faces another outgoing state official -- Republican Lieutenant Governor Dick Posthumus.

The polls close at eight p.m.
