Snow and lots and lots of it. The fluffy white stuff covered practically every inch of Mid-Michigan by early Sunday, and it wasn't letting up.
"It's not that bad," says David Wall. "This is nothing, just a little bit of white stuff."
"It's pretty a lot of snow, a lot of work," says Jim Washburn.
Washburn made sure to stay on top of things despite there being several hours left of snowfall.
"I try to get it done mostly before it gets packed down," he says. "Then it's even more difficult to get up."
By one in the afternoon an average of about eight inches of snow covered Mid-Michigan. Liberty and Somerset Center, both just South of Jackson, had the most snow fall at ten and a half inches."
"I work for the Post Office, but I'm scared to drive in the snow" says Missy Presly.
In fact, she was dreaming about someplace without snow.
"I hate it. I just asked, this morning, if I could move to Florida."
But just ask these kids and they'll tell you they're thrilled to be outside.
"I want to go sledding," says Christopher Reynolds.
"People want to go sledding," agrees his brother Ben.
"I usually like the snow," says Zach Walsh. "Because I can go shovel and make money."
And on a day like this, there's plenty of money to be made.
