A Lansing school Wednesday canceled classes for the rest of the week due to sickness.
Church of the Resurrection School, located on East Michigan Avenue, had half of its K-8 student body out by noon Wednesday.
Teachers said symptoms included nausea and vomiting. The Ingham County Health Department said it didn't think it was the influenza virus, but more than likely a stomach bug.
School officials have disinfected the building and hope by Monday everyone will be well.
Games and a school dance, scheduled for Saturday, had not been canceled as of Wednesday night.
