Construction season is almost over, but expect to see work continue through the winter on one of the Michigan Department of Transportation's projects.
It's a $1.8 million project that includes replacing thousands of signs along US 127 between Interstate 96 and Interstate 69 in Ingham and Clinton counties. The work began one month ago and is expected to continue until all the old signs are gone and the new ones are in place.
MDOT says it's something that's done about every 15 years to update according to new standards.
