Michigan's Attorney General has asked a federal judge to reconsider her ruling and permit the state's sex offender registry program.
The judge had ruled the registry unconstitutional because there is no due process for determining who does and who doesn't go on the list.
At the same time Michigan lawmakers are working to rewrite the registry law that will address the judge's concern.
