It's making its way through the legislative process. The House Energy and Technology Committee voted yes on legislation that would override the City of Lansing's decision to stop the Wolverine Pipeline Company from putting a gasoline pipeline along Interstate-96. At the end of the House session Wednesday, it got voted on to the Senate.
Senator Virg Bernero says he will try to derail the fast moving legislation. Representative Michael Murphy says he will work with the city to fight it down.
The bill now moves onto a Senate committee.
