Two red shirt freshman Michigan State Football players are arraigned on charges they were in possession of a dangerous chemical compound. MSU police say the two wide receivers played a role in detonating so called McGuyver or home made bombs.
Irving Campbell and Terry Love are the student athletes arrested in connection with the bomb charges.
Police call it part of an ongoing prank involving the two players.
No one was injured and no property was damaged as part of the three bombs detitinating.
If convicted of the crime both could face up to 90 days in jail and a $100 dollar fine as part of the misdemeanor crime.
An MSU athletics spokesman says, "We will let the legal process work itself out and then respond accordingly.
The Ingham County Prosecutor's office says a preliminary trial will be set in the next few weeks.
Based on the prosecutor's timetable and MSU's reaction both players are unlikely to miss or incur any punishment for this weekend's football game against top ranked Wisconsin.
