She also says to look for certain ingredients when buying a body moisturizer. They include: petrolatum, glycerin, shea butter, mineral oil, aloe vera and propylene glycol.
You should use moisturizer immediately after bathing or showering. Avoid using antibacterial soap; switch to liquid soap instead.
A humidifier will also help keep your skin moist.
